What is the Trillium Community Help Foundation (TCHF)?

TCHF is a CRA-registered Canadian charitable organization based in Ontario. We run six free community programs supporting seniors, newcomers, immigrants, low-income families, and vulnerable Canadians across Ontario and all of Canada. Our programs include Consumer Awareness, Shovel For Seniors, HealthEssentials, CareerConnect Canada, Blood Donation Support, and Immigration Help.

Our virtual programs like CareerConnect Canada are available nationwide across all Canadian provinces and territories.

Yes, all six TCHF community programs are completely free of charge. Some programs require registration or agency referral, but there are no fees for participants. We believe every Canadian deserves access to essential support regardless of financial circumstances.

How can I volunteer with TCHF in Ontario?

You can volunteer by visiting our Get Involved page and completing a volunteer application. We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, Ottawa, and across Ontario. Opportunities include snow shovelling for seniors, career mentorship for newcomers, workshop facilitation, supply distribution, and event support.

Yes. TCHF is a registered charity with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). All eligible donations receive an official tax receipt that you can use for your annual tax return. You can donate securely online through Stripe on our Donate page.
